Trivia Night at the Dove & Olive is Back!
We’re excited to host another trivia night at the The Dove & Olive. This is a great chance for our Sydney-based members (and anyone who can make it in!) to catch up in-person.
As an online club, we don’t often get the chance to meet face-to-face, this is the perfect opportunity to put some names to faces outside of our units.

Hi everyone!
Elections are now open for executive and committee positions with the UNE Data Science & Statistics Club. You can find the official UNE Data Science & Statistics Club webpage here.
The UNE Data Science & Statistics Club is an online club serving all students who have an interest in statistics or data science at UNE. We host several online events per year and have hosted in-person events around the Sydney region.
We are inviting nominations for the following roles:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Secretary
General Committee Members
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 30 January at 7:30 pm via Zoom, where elections will take place.
These roles are open to current students or staff who are interested in helping run the club, plan activities, and represent data science and statistics students at UNE. Committee roles are suitable if you want to be involved without taking on an executive position.
If you are interested in nominating yourself (or someone else) or would like more information about the roles, please feel free to contact me (cfernan9@une.edu.au) or contact the club committee via the official club page linked above.

Make the most of the break before T2! Join us for a Portfolio & Code session, a chill space to study, code, or work on your projects with fellow students. Whether you're polishing up your portfolio or just staying on track, come hang out and get things done together.

Now that Tri 1 has officially kicked off, we're back for another trivia night at the Dove & Olive pub in true UNE DSSC fashion!
We've booked a table for the club and we’ll be covering some delicious nibbles to keep your brain fuelled, and the pub has happy hour until 7pm! It’s going to be a great night of fun, food, drinks, and questionable answers.
